Re-Entry
Fair - Oct 7th
Asian Resources Inc. (ARI) has always been one of the
first agencies to recognize the current needs of the community. In 2005, the
Broadway
Career
Center hosted by Asian Resources,
Inc. under the direction of the Site Supervisor, Mary Garza, organized the
initial Broadway Career Center Ex-Offender Job Fair targeting the recently
released population from incarceration. The event drew several hundred job
seekers from all over Northern California.
Last year with over 200 participants attending and
over 21 direct hires, the numbers speaks for the success of this event. Our goal
is to have the Job Fair annually and keep enlarging the pool of employers
available for the at risk population. Future suggestions include resume
preparation and interviewing skills prior to the Job Fair.
This year we are proudly hosting our 3rd
Annual Re-Entry Job Fair at our
Broadway
Career
Center on October 7th, 2008 from 9:00 AM 12:00 PM. Employers will be recruiting applicants
18+ years old for various positions throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. For
more information call 916-324-6202.
